Couldn't remember what time the opening ceremonies started, very glad that it's at 11 am - I know I'll be home in time to watch it!

Looks like they move the Panel Discussion Stage from hall C to A.
Hmm, that will be a pain to get to compared to last year when going from panel to panel.

Blizzard Cinematics: Diablo II - Making of "Black Soulstone"
That pretty much confirms we will see the opening cinematic for Diablo III during the Opening Ceremonies.

The convention is in Anaheim CA, so all times are Pacific.

"Dumbest Question Ever" is entirely subjective, but I'd like to take this moment to nominate "Wow, really?" for the award. I mean, it is a question after all, though a highly rhetorical one used mostly as a segue to mockery, and not entirely needed.
I'll admin, I have used it from time to time, but I often find its much more fun to jump straight to the mockery without beating around the bush. ^_^

Question - Is the "Lore Zone" it's own panel room? I was hoping at least some of the WoW Lore panels would be included in virtual ticket.

It looks to be in the same general area as the game show they ran with lore questions, nothing to do with the lore panels.

the Lore Q&A Panel was the best last year, which i'm sure you'll be able to watch from home. THat's where the red shirt guy made his first appearance

From what I can see, the "Lore Zone" is a quiz show. Against a "Blizzard historian."

Interesting... a bunch of seemingly vague panels related to WoW: "World of Warcraft: Dungeons and Raids" when there is already a 4.3 specific panel (4.3 Raid and Deathwing) and the two panels in the Lore Zone called simply "World of Warcraft".
I'm sensing a new expansion announcement.

Come now, we already know they're going to be announcing the new expansion at Blizzcon. They can't be expecting us to raid 4.3 for a year (gulp, can they?)
But in all seriousness, the only question is "what's it going to be?" Not "will they be announcing it?"

Well, here's the question: when was Cataclysm unveiled, at a panel or at the OC? The DIII cannot be the only big thing for the OC and they want to get the show off and running, right?

Yeah no, the big reveal is at the OC, but the presence of superfluous panels is an indicator that the announcement will be made at the OC, and the extra panels will be updated to something like "World of Warcraft: Hello Kitty Island Story Panel" or something like that.
