Patch 4.3: Chromatic Dragon, other pet models revealed

This is also our first look at the model for Wrathion. We know he'll be involved in the legendary quest line in some fashion, but exactly how remains to be revealed. Perhaps a hidden quest giver in Ravenholdt Manor? However it turns out, I'm sure someone gets ambushed in the end.
Brace yourselves for what could be some of most exciting updates to the game recently with patch 4.3. Eh, I think of it more along the lines of Hunters ARE Legendary. The lesser classes are merely epic.
It's certainly not that other classes are not that good, its that we're Just That Awesome, and when you're That Awesome, well, who needs an orange item?

Ouch! Well, that may be so. But it was still a hunter epic. :)
I hear you on the feral druids, though. But they can be pretty legendary already. (Obligatory reference to Rocket Bare?)

Thori'dal was actually amazing for hunter DPS before the wrath patch. 1:1 Thori'dal hunters were pretty much the only class that could keep up with Glaive Rogues. While it was only a modest upgrade over the golden bow with epic arrows if you were a mediocre hunter, a hunter who knew to modify his rotation to take advantage of the fact that steady shot was based of weapon DPS, not ammo DPS, saw an incredible boost to their DPS output.

Hmmmm.......... Chromatic Dragon? Might Chromatus be making his return in the legendary questline? Opening his prison would be a very fitting challenge.

I love the new cartoony look of the NPCs they've put out lately. Very reminiscent of Warcraft 3, which is never a bad thing.

Hmm, those laterns look very asian inspired. MoP preview ala the halloween masks of worgen/goblin from precata? I sure hope not.

Those lanterns have been in the game for ages, they are used for Lunar Festival Decorations. seems they simply now used that model for a pet.

I'm going to be a little irked if they tack on additional rewards to a legendary that a significant amount of raid groups won't even be able to give to a raider on an offspec. There's a significant number of raiding guilds on my server that don't have a rogue on their roster, and as such they can't obtain the guild rewards for the quest chain. This is the first time that there's been a legendary with such a narrow focus, and tying group rewards to that is a recipe for irritating more people, either by requiring a group that wishes to obtain those rewards to replace a current raider with a rogue, or forcing them to choose their group's integrity over material rewards in a manner that's never been forced before in raid content.
