I enjoy them because I happen to enjoy fan fiction. If you look at them and expect great works of literature then you will always be disappointed because they aren't that. They aren't even pretending to be that.

They will always have the same problems even the best fan fiction is prone to--and I wouldn't count any of the WoW books in the best category--because the characters (for the most part) are not created by the authors.
