I don't think there's enough demand for kittens for this to be a sustainable way of buying gold for anyone. If/when they introduce a whole stream of new, tradable items then maybe.

But then the TCG cards have been gold-buying in all but name since forever. And those are significant sums, not the 500-ish gold this thing is likely to settle at.
