Kraken pet FTW!
Jin.Kim0420 Oct 11th 2011 9:37AM
Does the WoW Insider meetup accessible for non-BlizzCon attendees?
Jin.Kim0420 Oct 11th 2011 9:38AM
Is...not, does. Too hazy in the head, appears.
Charron Oct 11th 2011 10:04AM
Sure is!
Michael Sacco Oct 11th 2011 7:56PM
It is. No BlizzCon ticket needed.
evoxpisces Oct 11th 2011 10:13AM
We should start a petition for a kraken pet!
Also, I cracked up when you compared the goblins to an entire race of Joe Pesces! Hilarious! Another great show guys!

Dear WowInsider Show,
Japanese comics are not:
"main-gah"
The word is pronounced:
"mon-gah"
Thanks.
Mathew McCurley Oct 11th 2011 4:37PM
Japanimation?
Sage Oct 11th 2011 6:56PM
With that, you make my (Japanese) wife cry, a little.
heh
bethontheharbor Oct 16th 2011 3:08PM
I agree, and WTH is a SKORGE?! It's not pronounced like forge.
Its pronounced like Purge.
If your going to broadcast be professional about it and learn the vocabulary.
It makes me wonder if he thinks roman's binged and poorged?
xvkarbear Oct 11th 2011 11:52AM
Does it seem like all three of them are a tad bit hostile at each other this podcast?
Dboy Oct 11th 2011 12:22PM
Sacco is usually the hostile party. To be blunt, it was a relief not to have to endure the huge chip on his shoulder in last week's show when he was absent. He doesn't usually add much to the discussion bar passing others' insights off as his own and attempting to dominate through aggressive turn-taking devices.
The chemistry between Mat and Matt is excellent, however, and it's worth putting up with the 'senior editor'.
xvkarbear Oct 11th 2011 12:35PM
I think Sacco plays an important role of keeping McCurley and Rossi from spending the entire hour talking about the first email. He's the mediator and the one to keep them on task (actually, now that I think about it... Adam Holisky, the silent recorder, is probably the one that keeps them on task).
He does also offer his opinions, which gives McCurley and Rossi launching ground to agree or disagree with. He's like the rubber that they can bounce off of.
(I'd love to just let Rossi talk though. Just get him on a lore topic and listen to him go, because he brings a lot of perspective and thought to things that I never noticed before/thought of myself)
EVOXPISCES Oct 11th 2011 5:39PM
Yea I was definitely thinking the same thing. The show was good but it didn't feel as fun as others. Oh well, can't wait for blizzcon!
Michael Sacco Oct 11th 2011 7:55PM
lol
Sally Bowls Oct 11th 2011 8:17PM
I like the show and hosts. Everyone is entitled to a grumpy day every so often.
/rumormonger Perhaps Sacco is just burned out and will be more animated on TORInsider?
Adriatic Mar 6th 2013 3:50PM
Yep, definitely got that as well. Sacco seemed quite salty from the get go. Probably the jack-hammering, while funny for us, getting to him. I lived in apartment where a highrise was going up nearby as well, and I assure you there was no hilarity involved. Especially if your someone who occasionally sleeps in.
Freddo Oct 13th 2011 10:31AM
I think the podcast is really entertaining. Sure, some shows are better than others but that's sort of subjective and understandable.
I allways miss Sacco when he's gone.
Sometimes i listen to the show more than 2 times each week... Is that weird? Makes washing the dishes much more fun :)
Mathew McCurley Oct 13th 2011 10:52AM
I hate Mike Sacco so much.
Freddo Oct 13th 2011 4:25PM
Haha, Mat you old troll you!
