You know, the goblin starter area does get one to thinking: Should the Old Gods still even feel the need to put any effort into killing everyone?
There are two races whose answer to every problem is to blow it up. (Elves and Goblins. Gnomes, too sometimes.)
A couple races easily swayed into thinking that demons were the key to their survival, one wasn't even in peril at the time. (Blood elves and orcs.)
One race that is so dead set on power, they have a tendency to commit self-genocide rather than share it amongst themselves. (Trolls)
A race so prideful they just seem to just want to argue with everyone, including themselves, than to accomplish things. (Humans, mostly)
One race that can't even plan for succession properly causing them to have a massive war which split them into three and then nearly another when yet ANOTHER question of succession came up. (Dwarves)
Another race's very reproduction depends soley on the death of others. (Forsaken)
Even the Tauren have taken part in willful genocide for some land.
From amongst them all are those powerful enough to defeat dragons, kill Lich Kings, and slay gods, but are willing to further the goals of anyone who gives them a nice story, a little pocket change, and a pretty dress.
