Heres my guess for blizcon.... they will raise the gold cap to 10 Million gold.

You forgot a fight mechanic: Verbal Barb. Targets a random raid member. Victim spends the rest of the fight crying.

Great episode, guys!
Awesome points about Blizzard's Horde-bias. I think it all stems from gnomes. Blizzard refuses to take gnomes seriously, and that just rubs off on the faction as a whole.
Someone needs to shank Metzen in the knee and be like "Just because a guy's only this high, doesn't mean he can't start some shit, @#$-er!"
If Blizzard put in any effort to add some "cool" to gnomes, I guarantee it'd elevate (heh) the faction as a whole.

They totally tried this with the Mekkatorque story but it hasn't resonated yet. Goblins are goofy and malicious versus the gnomes goofy and benign. It's hard to deal with.

They're lighter and more whimsical... that doesn't mean they should be unproductive. That New Tinkertown has a gate and no wall, and isn't crawling with awesome technology is ridiculous.
The gnomes should have a mechanized city. Something with the depth and thought that was put into the goblin starter area. Not something that looks like someone sat down with the gnomish design assets for 5 minutes and plonked down a few buildings onto the area outside Gnomeregan. It just looks like a slapdash effort.

I wish there were more to gnomes, storywise.
Hell, they even forgot the little guys in WCIII and had to scramble to come up with a reason why they were missing.
For all the complaints about Draenei being ignored in lore, they at least got an epic, tragic, and harrowing back story.
The gnomes seem to always be after thought.
"Oh, the evolved from robots or whatever."
"They weren't in the third war because...they were blowing up their city." "They're not goblins..." "Then they were tricked into it!"
I mean, they try to pass them off as the most logical, if absent-minded, playable race with the backstory that they nuked themselves? Really?

There was a quest line in Tanaris for alliance working under an "adorable" and stereotypical gnome trying to push the bilgewater cartel out of Gadgetzan. Its been a while since I've done it but by the end she's saying something along the lines of "Ugh I'm tired of this fake polite front I've been putting on for so long. Go shank some goblins!"
This is pretty much exactly how I've always pictured gnomes. Don't f*** with them.

I want to see the gnomes repurpose Gnomeregan into some kind of flying battleship.
"It's powered by anti-gravity machines, Arcane magic and a whole lotta prayer. Also chickens."

"Uncanny" show guys! Lol. I especially loved the question about who would the WoW Insider staff be in instances, dungeons and raids! Funny how you guys paired Josh, Tyler, and Fox together because I follow them the most on WoW Insider! Lol. If I were a minion, I'd wanna be a murloc or goblin in "The Halls of Mediocrity" as you guys named it :P
Anyway I could care less whether Pandaren are playable or not, actually I'd rather they weren't playable because I feel like that's all we will see running around Azeroth. Pandaria as the next expansion end game content sounds extremely plausible and I have thought this since the moment they trademarked "Mists of Pandaria". I have been dying for a Monk-like class since Vanilla, and if the Monk (or Runemaster) is the next Hero class, then I guess I will have a new main! My guess is that it will be a healer/DPS class, a melee cloth wearer, who uses staves and fist weapons. Maybe 1H Swords, but it's not really monk-like. I think Fist Weapons should be the focused-on weapon for Monks (assuming they're the next class) just like daggers are pretty much the quintessential Rogue weapon, even though they can use other weapons.
As for the talent system, I like how the talents work now, the streamlined process they put it through was great, but like you guys said, I wouldn't be surprised if they overhauled the talent system again or scrapped it altogether for something entirely new.
Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts, thanks for another spectacular show guys!

Dan O'Hallaran's leaving? Shame, that.

You should definitely quit out of Skype while recording the podcast. I keep hearing someone's little "bloop" sound while listening to this and thinking I just missed a message or something until I rewind and listen again.

Also, you should probably know that during the zeppelin trip to the Highlands, Deathwing himself does not show up to attack you, it's just a bunch of Twilight Drakes. I feel that Deathwing would have been a little overkill.
