This is Kegilert's first video, in which she examines the mysterious Creepy Crate. You can pick up the companion as part of the Hallow's End holiday. It turns out ... the crate eats critters! This kind of discovery virtually mandates some investigative journalism, and Kegilert set out to find out Is it Nommable?
You can see as Kegilert sets out exploring the world on her character Arkadie, finding out which of the world's critters are nommable. The video is almost a little frightening when you consider the seemingly endless hunger of the creepy crate.
I have to admit this video gets me excited to log in and go get a crate of my own.

a guildy told me about the cow last night when i logged in, so of course i had to get the pet as fast as possible and try it for myself. my question is: just how big of a critter can it eat?? bear? elekk? those giant beasts roaming nagrand?? O_O MUST TRY IT!
Bears, Elekk, Clefthoof are beasts, not critters. Critters are generally level 1-5, almost no hitpoints, cannot be tamed. Which is sad, because I would love a pet cow.
That's a wonderful video. Nice, simple and funny. I thought the fawn and mother would never be eaten, but laughed loudest at the cow getting "nommed". If you've somehow read this comment before watching the video, watch the video now!
Anyone else feeling like we've just met The Luggage from Discworld? I expect to see Rincewind running by, barefoot, with half of the fauna of Azeroth chasing him?
I absolutely love this! It reminded me of my favourite discworld "character" right from the start and I NEED TO HAVE IT, even though I haven't logged in weeks and I promised myself I would never even think about holidays ever again when I got my purple dragon.
The Toxic Wasteling from the "Love is in the Air" boss also eats critters. It grows bigger with each critter it eats! There is a limit to how big it gets, of course.
I would think that the critters eaten by the Crate will count toward the guild achievement, just as the Wasteling works.

Great touch naming the crate after the plant from Little Shop of Horrors.

Would you say it's...Nominous?

My guildie told me that it works on the critters you have to rescue in Hyjal. Yikes!
Bellajtok Oct 19th 2011 12:48PM
Audrey! I get it! (I'm slow.)
I must have one of my own. Between the crate and my large supply of Stormchops..... No critter will survive.

Has it been confirmed if the "kills" count toward the guild cheev?
GoldenWyvern Oct 19th 2011 1:33PM
My guildie just checked - yes, it does.
Jax Oct 19th 2011 12:54PM
All it needs are dozens of tiny legs and it shall be dubbed 'The Luggage'
