The super-adorable sprite darter hatchling is, sadly, no longer available to the Alliance *at all*; the mobs the Horde farms to get it are friendly to the Alliance. Which is pretty sucky for an originally Alliance-only pet. Why Blizzard removed those quests from the game I've no idea.

That's not true. Sprite darter is azone wide drop in feralas. I got mine from one of the noxious whelps. You can farm that and the emerald whelp at the same time.
