What is the CONFLICT here? All of the past expansions have had unifying enemies which drive the story of the entire expansion, this just looks like an art reel. Who are we raiding against?

They said this xpac is about war between the Alliance and Horde and not a main villian.

When setting the stage for the trailer in the livestream, Metzen made it clear the major conflict going forward for the next couple of years is going to be Horde vs Alliance. And frankly, I think this is a great call even though I'm one of those hippies that agrees with Thrall and Jaina.
WoW really needs something new in the mix in terms of expansions, the whole "BIG BAD THREATENING THE GLOBE" thing has really been run into the ground after three expansions of it. It's time for something fresh.

One of the other articles mentioned that this xpac will focus more on the horde-ally conflict that a particular super villain. Expect Battle for Undercity style raids or something.
