And now we discover whether or not I can take bio notes and watch blizzcon at the same time.
....My guess is not.

I'm pretty sure my productivity at work would plummet off a cliff if I could watch at work... its probably a blessing I can't.
Mooyah Oct 21st 2011 12:08PM

Blizz needs to pull out all the stops today! We got wookies and Sith knocking down the door!

How about some UTC for the people who do not happen to live in the US? *sighs* In any case, you have to add seven hours to the EST figure to get from US time to world time, so the opening ceremony will start at 21.00 hours UTC.

mmo-c has a schedule posted to their front page that automatically converts the time to your computer's local time. Might be helpful. =)

Wait what?
EST is GMT-4, and work from there.

This is seriously the worst possible day. I have so much to do, Blizz! I blame you! Stop having this game be so addictive!
Nina Katarina Oct 21st 2011 12:38PM
I'd love to have too much to do right now. I have nothing to do until the thingamabob starts except reread documentation and hit 'f5'.

I'm... hopeful. Hopeful that Blizz can come up with something new and different enough to pull me out of the extreme boredom with the game in general that I (and many others) are having. I've at least dipped my toes into every aspect of the game including pvp (arenas and both rated and normal battlegrounds), raids, 5 mans, questing (loremaster achieved pre-cata, and then finished up the new cata quests as well), chasing random achievements, farming, AH pvp... enough alts to fill 2 and a half servers' worth of slots... I'm pretty much about out of new things to try.
It will take more than another new race or class to get me excited. *Accept the challenge, Blizz!*

Ich wünschte wirklich, ich war auf der BlizzCon im Moment, vielleicht im nächsten Jahr.

Looking forward to hearing about a new expansion, but nothing can top the excitement I feel for SWTOR coming in December. Hope the new content has a better storyline than Cata. It just didn't interest me at all.
keithzobel Oct 21st 2011 1:00PM
I agree that Cata was a slump. I don't think, however, that SWTOR is going to keep people away from wow for very long. I'm not bashing it at all because it does look pretty neat. I feel like I've just heard it all before..

I can't actually figure out why I'm still on WoWinsider almost every day, because I haven't actually played the game in weeks. I unsubscribed a few months ago but, because I was paying the long rate, I still have game time until January. I love reading about the game, but I don't have any motivation to play it anymore. I want to see it get better and more interesting again, but I'm not sure the damage can be repaired to my relationship with it.
All of the friends that I have that quit WoW long before me, and even some that never liked WoW but played other MMOs are going to TOR. That's why I think it's going to hold my attention longer than any other startup MMO on the block. People that I've always wanted to play with will be there. That's what was so great about WoW once, the friends that I brought with me and the friends that I made there, but it just isn't worth it if your friends are all gone.

I really hope Blizz steps it up in a huge way for the next expansion otherwise a lot of people will jump ship to Star wars. cmon Blizzard blow our minds!

Everything in the convention center has Pandas on it. Anyone else get the feeling we are just being trolled, hard?
