There are sort of two categories of dungeons in WoW.The first are the amusement park rides- linear instances that have fun fights. These are great for people that just want their gear and vps. These are designed with the experience and flow in mind first. Pretty much every dungeon in wrath and cataclysm was designed with way.The second are delves. They're non-linear exploratory experiences and a pain in the ass for the grind. They're designed from the concept-up. I loved running those with friends and family. Sometimes with pugs, but only if they were easy. They haven't really had one of those since vanilla, or maybe Karazhan. Blackrock depths and Stratholme are two that still fit into that category.I love category two, but I suppose it's not a good use of development time to create them. Nowadays, I can go back and run old raids if I want that experience. These revamps are good things. Any bets on what the first revamped revamped dungeon's gonna be? (heroic heroic deadmines at 95?) On another note, they should absolutely design this new challenge system to scale dungeons up to higher levels for future expansions. Or let you elvel down...

Well stated. It's definitely true, and it's very apparent in the way you can go through dungeons.
