1. So what? It's a "joke race" a large percentage of the player-base has been BEGGING for for years. Not only that, but it's a "joke race" that already exists in the franchise and has been referenced in game.
2. You don't know what the storyline is.
3. ...what did you say? No really, that line is missing a few words, or otherwise you're saying a body of fictional history hates a game expansion.
4. The "joke race" you mentioned was supposed to be in TBC, a very bright, colorful expansion with space octogoatmen, giant mushrooms and rainbow dragons. TBC was followed up with an expansion where everything was blue and made of ice. Cata was based on red and made of fire. What aesthetic trend exactly is MoP breaking here, that it's not Western enough?
