Ah. He's butthurt because he considers himself a 'true' fan (whatever that means) and thinks that, somehow, this gives him veto power over the creators. Or that fleshing out a small bit of lore in a big way is somehow a betrayal of him.This is right up there with the folks complaining about Aggra breaking the Thrall/Jaina couple-that-never-was (although, admittedly, teased about.)The World of Warcraft... well, it's a world. And that means lots of variations; this isn't some silly one world culture place. I guess you can complain that they ripped this place off from east asia... but then you have to deal with the problem that pretty much all the cultures we've seen are fantasy counterparts to real cultures, at least in part.
