They mentioned updating the models with more detail than usual in the Q&A after this, it's something their character team is actively thinking about, but once again it's a question of pooling resources. I am literally sick of staring at these models though they once thrilled me for years in the beginning, and I'm tired of games that are far less successful giving more updates of this nature while still maintaining dungeons and raids, even if they aren't the same quality. Blizzard should expand it's resources for things like this instead of working from the same consolidated model. Sometimes when you make more money than usual, you put that money into places you couldn't before. It's part of being wildly successful. There are people who could care less about this, but there are plenty of people who find it very important. Seeing more and more of the classic races updated for bosses and leaders is just getting painful. After Pandaren, I'm pretty much cool with every playable species I once desired. I'd be fine with them updating the player models now instead of working on a new race. The last thing I'm after is demon hunters and blademaster sashimonos. :P
