I upvoted you.
I agree with you - I think that for all those poe-faced "WOW is SRSBZNZ!" types that we might lose, I see this expansion bringing in and retaining a lot of players that enjoy fun...and quite frankly, I'd rather play with them. These people seem to be the same people that complain "there's nothing to do in Cata" while at the same time whining and gnashing their teeth every time Blizz tries to add something fun to do.
These people really seem blind to the fact that almost everything that Blizzard is doing with this expansion seems to be in direct response to all the complaints they themselves had about Cata (we spend all our time in Org, heroics are too arduous, there's nothing to do between raids, we can't pug on our alts, why won't you let us cutomise our toons more, we need a new style of healing, what's with all this leather int gear that only druids can use, there's still no choice in talents...).
Plus I have yet to hear any of them give a coherent explaination about why Panadren are any more "silly" than Tauren, Gnomes, Goblins or Spacegoats - other than referencing an animated movie that came out many years after Blizzard added Panadaren into Warcraft lore.
