You know, when this expansion was announced, I was absolutely thrilled.
I didn't know why exactly. Yes, I liked the art direction, I liked the look of the new class and I even liked the pet battle system, but they weren't the main reasons why I liked it.
And when I saw reason number one in this article, I realised that was exactly the reason why I was thrilled.
I can't wait. (Great article, by the way)

I agree with that sentiment.
The fact that I'm not *over* excited about this expansion has actually got me looking forward to it.
I felt that Cataclysm was ruined for me by the amount of information that was released during beta, and my lack of will-power to avoid looking for that information. Any chance of surprise and that special feeling you get when you see something for the first time was lost because I chose to follow OMFGCata, TB, MMO-C, WoWleaks and a whole host of other information sources. My own inclusion into Beta didn't help much either.
It's why I'm a bit loathed to get the annual pass for D3. I know I'll end up using my beta access. I'm a data-whore (try not imagining a Star Trek character in drag now!)
