Around Azeroth: The secret circle
"My guildmate Samskeyti is a notorious hunter of rares and oddities, so when she found out about the faerie dragon event in Tirisfal, she headed off to find the mushroom circle," writes Skylis of Insomniac on Steamwheedle Cartel (EU-A). "All the good karma she saved up from re-homing the rares she finds to grateful hunters paid off, and the seventh dragon spawned just as she got there. One quick summon later and I was there to see it too."

Hey, another hunter who rehomes rares for other hunters. /high five

Early in Cata, I spent 30 minutes chain-fearing Arcturis while I sent whispers to every hunter I could find looking for someone to tame him.

Samskeyti alerted me to the spawns of Madexx and Ahnka, and got me hooked on taming all the rare beasts I see - and has infinite patience for the noobiest of hunters repeatedly dying while taming the challenges. If there ever is someone deserving of all the good karma in WoW, it's Sams :)

The legend of Sams grows.
I dare not even think how many hunter pets there are on SWC named after her. She's even helping when she's not in game; here's her list of Wrath and Cata rares and loots over on petopia:

She has one more Cata rare to screen cap afaik, some rare in Uldum if I recall correctly. If you're on SWC and you catch sight of it, let her know!
Sams, we salute you.
P.S. Thanks for featuring my screenie WI!

I waited an hour or so for the event to start - when I got there the faerie dragons were already there and just floating around. I thought it would start quicker than it did, but it was worth the wait ^.^

When I heard about the circle, I parked one of my characters up there and logged out, checking back in every hour or so while leveling another alt. It took a little while, but I did manage to log in just as the last dragon arrived.
It's not a big show, but was well worth the wait.

I checked the ring occasionally to try to see the event. On Saturday, while I watched the Blizzcon Livefeed, I stumbled across five of the faeries. I figured, "Oh, it's almost time, I'll wait around for twenty minutes to watch." It was half an hour until the last one showed up, and then TWO HOURS until the actual event started. It was friggin ridiculous. I wouldn't wait around for two and a half hours for it, but an interesting sight to see, nonetheless.

I've waited anything from around 5 minutes, as mentioned above, to 2 hours after the last dragon spawned for the event to start.
I actually would recommend people camp the event, it's one of those amazing little things in game that really doesn't have a purpose other than to be beautiful. Take your friends along to stave off the boredom and make sure you have your game music turned on!
You'll be sorry you missed it if it ever goes away.

My guild of two celebrated our second year together by visiting the Drunk Fey Darters! We waited around three hours to see it, but we had a blast waiting and thankfully watching.
Oddly enough, the other half of my guild of two has a paladin named Samskeyti! Very :o
