Personally I do NOT look forward to the Mind Blast changes. I don't think SP need a secondary resource, especially not tied to our biggest spell.

Orbs are already tied into Mind Blast so whats the big deal?
I ithink mind flay is really our biggest spell. We use it far more often than mind blast and if done right, does more damage than mind blast does over the course of a run. They kinda switch places throughout a fight and a run. Sometimes MF is on top. Sometimes MB is on top. I love both and I love that the orbs are going to make the relationship between them and MB a lot more awesome.

I used to be special. I just feel more like a Paladin now.
Unless this turns out to be a buff, in which case screw uniqueness.

I actually have to agree with babybalrog on this one. I don't play shadow much, but I guess now that they want to give it a secondary resource in the form of Shadow Orbs, I realize that I like that it's one class without another resource system. Makes things less complicated. Not to mention I'd like to be able to cast MB, our main nuke, when I want to, not just when it's available and only because it's available.

@Erebos: The devil's advocate to your "I want to cast MB when I want to" is that you'll be able to save up MBs and use more on those "+100% damage taken" phases because the spell wont have a cooldown.
