As we all know, there's the distinct possibility of a World of Warcraft movie some time in the (relatively) near future. Some people are skeptical, some optimistic. Hopefully, it will be an epic tale, full of the flavor and excitement we all feel every time we log in to Azeroth, not a rehashing of stories we've known for ages or a bastardization of the hobby we all enjoy so much. Whether it focuses on Horde or Alliance, there will need to be characters of various shapes and sizes, representing the varied peoples of the World of Warcraft. Gnomes, Humans, Trolls and Tauren, the movie presents the opportunity to show the fantasy genre on a scope unseen thus far.
So who would you cast to play your character? Who brings the smarmy wit of the wily rogue, the cold confidence of the devious warlock or the young but arrogant sneer of the proud paladin on your character selection screen?
Since I get first dibs, as the author of this, I'm going to go ahead and stake my claim. My Human protection warrior would be played by Deborah Ann Woll from True Blood. She brings just the right mix of strength, sexiness, and wide-eyed bewilderment to play my common Stormwind girl-gone-heroine.

My main is a tauren, and I find none of the actors I know bovine enough to do anything other than voice acting. The voice must be British of course, unlike in WoW. Unfortunately, I cannot think of a British actor with a sufficiently deep voice. Cristopher Lee, perhaps, but his voice is too sinister and elderly.
I have the perfect voice actor for my trolls, though: Goldie :)

I would choose Doug E. Doug to play either my Troll hunter or Forsaken priest. For some reason I always pictured my Forsaken priest as having been a resurrected Troll.

On the hunt, nobody would enact my Night Elf Hunter better than Hugh Jackman.
For the city leisure and roleplaying I'd call Eric Idle, from Monty Python.

Also, Cate Blanchett to play my Forsaken mage, with some make-up / prosthetics to uglyfy her just a teensy bit.

Since Hollywood focuses on all these young beautiful skinny glamorous female actors, I can't think of a single one to play my stout down-to-earth, plain, hard-drinkin', hard-fightin' Champion of the Light, female dwarf paladin of the flame-red hair, Arugadh.
*Maybe* Sigourney Weaver, if only for her kick-a$$-ness in Aliens.

I usually say that my blood elf paladin looks like Kiera Knightly when she's looking a bit more punk, so I guess I'll go with that. Though my paladin is supposed to be shorter than average, but oh well. Still works okay.

Eliza Dushku would be my Worgen Rogue.
Alex Skarsgaard would be my Draenai Mage.
Aaron Eckhart would be my Holy Paladin.
