As we all know, there's the distinct possibility of a World of Warcraft movie some time in the (relatively) near future. Some people are skeptical, some optimistic. Hopefully, it will be an epic tale, full of the flavor and excitement we all feel every time we log in to Azeroth, not a rehashing of stories we've known for ages or a bastardization of the hobby we all enjoy so much. Whether it focuses on Horde or Alliance, there will need to be characters of various shapes and sizes, representing the varied peoples of the World of Warcraft. Gnomes, Humans, Trolls and Tauren, the movie presents the opportunity to show the fantasy genre on a scope unseen thus far.
So who would you cast to play your character? Who brings the smarmy wit of the wily rogue, the cold confidence of the devious warlock or the young but arrogant sneer of the proud paladin on your character selection screen?
Since I get first dibs, as the author of this, I'm going to go ahead and stake my claim. My Human protection warrior would be played by Deborah Ann Woll from True Blood. She brings just the right mix of strength, sexiness, and wide-eyed bewilderment to play my common Stormwind girl-gone-heroine.

I would think Russell Crowe would make a great human warrior tank.

My Draenei Paladin would be acted by doug jones and Bela Lugosi would come back from the dead to voice him

Actually, he is a pretty decent actor. He was also cast as Khal Drogo in " Game of Thrones" and starred in Stargate Atlantis for some time

Emilia Clarke as my female belf priest.
Doug Jones (he played Abe in Hellboy, plus a ton of other things) as my male undead mage.

I think Jason Statham for my prot warrior (would say Stone Cold Steve Austin if he was fury), Milla Jovovich for my Night elf hunter and Michael Clarke Duncan for my Dranei shaman (he is big enough and laid back enough to pull off being dranei)

I could see either Carrie Anne Moss or Michelle Rodriguez pulling off my huntress, depending on which aspects of her personality were being focused on.

Christina Hendricks for my Draenei frost mage. Sexy, cute, sweet, seductive and able to kick your ass if she needs to.
Lucy Lawless for my Draenei retribution paladin. Less jumping around involved than Xena, but just as much hitting people REALLY hard.
Melinda Clarke for my Worgen discipline priest, if only because of her role as Lady Heather in CSI.
Ashley Scott for my Human frost death knight. They look alike, and I know Ashley can play bad-ass no worries.
And the wonderful Mia Sara as my Draenei bank alt who's smart, good with money and has probably just brought you and everyone you love while we've been talking.

hmmm, of course I had to be different. Of course, I had to be the one to strike out and be unique. Of course, I had to be the dreaded.... Tauren Bear-Druid!
Now, this led me to think, who could possibly play my role in WoW - The Movie... A big, hulking Minotaur-like creature, who shapeshifts into who knows what. At first, I thought I would have to let CGI do it for me but now, it's dawned on me....
JOHNNY DEPP! Only a legend like him could make it work, and be ninja enough to move quickly in a big cow costume!
As for love interest, hmmm.... I'd say a pretty blood elf hunter could tame me any time.

My choice to play my warrior would be Sean Bean. He looks the part, and he's used to dying a lot.

I think Deborah Ann Woll would make a great Jaina Proudmoore actually! But for me, as a Dwarf Fury Warrior, I'd love John Rhys-Davies naturally. John portrayed Gimli so well and I love his voice! Perfect for a hilariously awesome dwarf.

Well, my Human Warrior was based off of Adam Baldwin, so that's a given.
My Dwarven S-Priest Archaeologist should be played by Peter Ustinov, but I'll take John Noble.
My Blood Elf Rogue is Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy).
My Dranei Ele Shaman should be played by a young Cyndi Lauper, but now, I guess Swedish singer Robyn.
