Quote:But, there's a difference between killing Night Elf hunters named after fantasy characters that I hate and killing environmental activists. One is totally forgivable; the other just makes you a terrible person.Response:You are totally right. Anybody named after fantasy characters that you hate is a forgiveable offense, while being an environmantal activist makes you a terrible person.I'm glad you finally saw the light before your Hummer was set on fire ... lolOn a note relating to the subject - I like Drizzt and in my mind it's BLOOD ELVES that should carry his name and legacy (especially BElf Rogues ...) - if you rmeember he was a DARK elf, not a Night alf. Night elves got their name from Blizzard and they claim to be the enlightened ones (see all Alliance propaganda here) while they paint BElfs and all Horde characters as dark ones./Getting ready for the avalanche

Drizzt was NOT a Dark Elf, he was a Drow. Drow are a black skinned, evil, Spider God worshiping, matriarchal society of elves, forced to live in the subterranean levels of Abeir-Toril, also known as The Underdark. They were expelled from their homeland of Evermeet by the High Elves (or Gold Elves) and Moon Elves (also known as Silver or Grey Elves) for the crimes they committed. Gold Elves closely resemble Blood Elves, having extremely fair to golden skin, lightly colored Hair, and various shades of blue to green eyes (usually with flecks of gold in them). On top of that they are very arrogant and dedicate themselves to the Arcane Arts.Moon Elves are much more like Night Elves in coloring, having darker skin shades, and hair that varies from white to blue to purple, occasionally silver will appear, but it is fairly rare. They are different in that they propose mingling with the other races as opposed to the isolationist view that the Gold elves have.Drow are EVIL, like eating babies evil. They stage raids to the surface for the express purpose of murdering the other races of elves, children included. They have no mercy, they have no regret, and they have nothing in common with the Elves of Azeroth. However, to look at Drizzt alone I'd say that he fits more as a Night Elf, both physically (appearance) and his outlook. As a side note, Drizzt is a Ranger, not a Rogue, so Hunter would be his class in WoW. His pet is Gwenhwyvar, a large magical black panther.
