Around Azeroth: Kill or cure?
Dang hippie Night Elves. Fallenkiss of Aegis on Darkmoon Faire (EU-A) is doing the whole "force for good" thing, healing her sick friend from the brink of death. Now, if she were an Undead priest, she would probably be flaying the mind from that same sleeping friend, then looting her body for some tailoring supplies. Hey, the Horde is still evil at heart. (Thanks to Edstrom of Blackmist Brigade for the screenshot!)

I'm still trying to decide if I think the blue is a failing video card or an attempt at the priest trying to enter the Matrix.

This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the game ends, you wake up next to your desk and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Azeroth and I show you how deep the Maelstrom goes.

More proof of horde favoritism in the matrix.
Wait wut....
krislen Oct 28th 2011 10:28AM
I take offense to that if anything the alliance is more evil these days!

It was just a--waitaminute...

I like the desaturation of color (some places have a bit too much color in WoW anyway). I also like the adjustments to the brightness and contrast. But I would have rather seen it without that filter that creates horizontal lines at the bright points. (I don't know if there's a name for that.)
Nice work!

If by "evil" you mean "trying to be accepted in a world that hates you," then yes, the horde is "evil."

Interesting definition :-)

The bombing of Stonetalon Mountains and the butchering of the Broken Front say "hi".
Brock Oct 28th 2011 12:41PM
The massacre at camp taurajo and the bombing of thralls fleet say, "hi" back at ya.
It's war. But one doesn't have to be evil to be at war. ;)

Neither of which we actually got to see as Alliance players, Brock.
And Southshore has both of those beat anyway. Bombed, smashed, slimed and citizens turned into undead freaks.

Evil? Thrall is currently trying to keep the entire elemental plane in balance. FOR YOU. I mean that's just ungrateful. I certainly don't feel evil. Some members of the Horde may choose to pursue a dark path, but I feel that most feel just as oppressed as YOU PEOPLE. ;)

You would too, if you'd see the cost of cloth on the AH these days. :p

I think unaltered screenshots are more impressive. Taking what might be a dull screenshot and then applying some filters to make it shiny doesn't really show off the game; It's not capturing "that one cool moment," it's capturing "a moment" and then glossing it up to make it look "cool."

@Avan
I agree. While the screenshot is pretty, another Photoshopped screenshot was featured not that long ago 15 AA's ago), and the fact that another was used so shortly after it is making me worry it's going to turn more into a Photoshopping contest and less into a "actually just capture a neat screenshot in the game".
I *like* that fact that Around Azeroth is just in-game shots that are neat or very beautiful all on their own without running it through a ton of filters in an image editing program-anyone can make an image pretty heavily filtering it. I don't like the direction things are heading if it's going to basically turn into a "who can run more cool filters on a screenshot" kind of thing. :(
