Death Knight Tier 13 and gear retrospective

Blizzard has released the Tier 13 set for Death Knights. Green flames, anyone? I'll take 'em.
The Death Knight set has been in development for a bit longer than the other sets. Blizzard's original artwork didn't pan out the way they wanted, so the set was sent back to the drawing board with the result shown above.

this is blizzard acknowledging all the game forum proclamations by DKs that no matter what, they're all going to transmog the acherus set and rock that.
to be fair the starter blue set is ICONIC.
i'm on the fence myself. always did like the look of T7, myself.
or maybe i'll do something else entire. on a worgen T12 looks like a dragon. i like the look.

I agree, djsuursoo. I was going to rock the Acherus set myself.
Still, I don't think this tier was too bad. It's just a different Death Knight look, but it's definitely a DK-type armor.

looks like it would make a pretty good warrior set actually. but there is absolutely no death knight in it.
so I will be wearing my scourgelord set instead.

You should look up 'absolutely' before using it again. The set is pretty bland though, in my opinion.

I agree, no hate here. I just think this looks more like a PvP set than a tier set. All of the other T13 sets have an unprecedented level of detail and an interesting twist on some aspect of the class.

I am dissappointed in so many ways. Looks like a warrior helm and warlock suit. the only thing halfway good are the shoulders
