Piercing Howl doesn't seem to be of much help in Bosses in any instance. So...I must be missing something. What am I missing and where am I missing it? lol When is PH good? (Other than in shampoo...) All I ever see when I used PH was "Immune". (To the tune of "That doesn't not computee, Will Robinson.")

Unless I miss my guess, I'd say adds. They're frequently vulnerable to all types of stuns, dazes, slows and the like.

PH is great with off-tank kiting or generally just slowing all mobs in general area, with most trash and some adds in boss fights not being immune to slows. In PvP, as a flag carrier or a node defender, the ability to slow down everyone near you is an amazing ability.
The thing that excites me however... is cripple (rend is a 50% movement impair), this combined with what I assume is now a prot only ability in Blood and thunder (thunder clap spreads rend to all affected targets) = an all in one slow, threat generator, and attack speed slow. :D

As other have said, it's good for adds. I've also seen tanks use it on the last boss of BRC - it separates Obsidius from his adds, as he's immune.
