Hallow's End is winding down, and Halloween is here today. Now's the time to don spooky masks, get dressed up in ghostly finery, and trot out into the pumpkin fields. Bullworth is getting into the action, too, with It's the Great Pumpkin, Bullworth!
As the story goes, the fall is a light raiding season for Bullworth. Feeling a little strapped for cash, he agrees to house-sit a spooky mansion. No dialogue is spoken in this video, which is an interesting departure from the normally dialogue-driven plots Bullworth favors. I think the final result works fairly well, although the plot feels a little choppy. A little more exposition might have served this piece well.
Ultimately, I continue to enjoy the sense of fun and adventure that Bullworth brings to his video. I look forward to what comes next. Interested in the wide world of machinima? You watched a collection of references to "The Shining", a film by Kubrick based on a novel from Stephen King.
I liked the !REDRUM, and ofc the tricycle reference, my favourite part of the movie. Though the sound could've been more engaging (sound plays a huge part in the original).
My favorite reference was the forsaken woman. That bath scene scared the absolute shit outta me the first time I saw it. But forsaken women in underwear? Not quite as scary.
I was pleased to hear a little Berlioz. Symphonie Fantastique is not used enough for Halloween, me thinks. But you've got witches and beheadings and opium fueled madness! What's not to love?
Yeeeahhhh....I'm one of those that has never watched The Shining. HOWEVER, I did look into others of his, and the Raid Eats/Epic Eats stuff is hilariously awesome. So, thanks for showing me that!
I enjoy Bullworth and I don't have anything negative to say except I'm really glad I have both read and seen The Shining. Otherwise I don't think I would've understood any of that except riding over the twins.

Lots of elements in it that reminds me of The Shining with Jack Nicholson.
Well made!

That would be because it was all scenes from the Shining, just recreated WoW style.

It took me a minute to get 'Pwnage' because he turned the P around and didn't reverse the other letters. XP
Strangely enough this brings back good memories of American gothic literature class. And we did watch this movie on Halloween.

Yeah if you never saw Kubrick's The Shining, this will go right over your head.

Same here. I really appreciated their take on the bear-fellatio scene.
Likewise, that sentence up there would make little sense to people who haven't seen or read the story.
