Yet was still heads and above better experience than FFXI, where you found a group after about an hour, stood in one spot, and pulled and killed monsters over and over again to level up, so you could go stand in a different spot.Classic WoW is terrible if you look at it through modern lenses. But compared to every other game on the market at the time, it was WAY ahead.It amuses me that so many people complain that WoW is catering to the casuals, when ALL of WoW has always been about "the casuals." If you want a truly hard game, go play an old-school MMO or JRPGMMO.I got made fun of by my FFXI linkshell back in the day for playing WoW. "Kiddie MMO" indeed. :)
