"Maybe it's just human nature to be cynical. Maybe it's just human nature to be caught in the dissatisfaction of now"Part of human nature is that when we encounter something for the first time, it has a strange magical feeling. As you get used to it, it goes away. But it goes away even if the thing that caused it doesn't change. That's where the nostalgia snobs fail. The thing they loath maybe didn't even change a bit.Flaming and trolling are not part of human nature though. They are the creation of modern day anonym internet. As Penny Arcade expressed it: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/3/19/By the way, I would have lived in any, any age of humanity... Why in the age when trolling and general stupidity came to be :'(

Agreed, but flaming and trolling go both ways. Most comment systems today are used not only to squelch trolls, but to squelch dissenting opinions. Don't believe me? Go look at my comment on page one. I went out of my way to say "my reasons for leaving are my own" and "I hope everyone who is looking forward to MoP enjoys it very much." But, alas, the post was voted down, because what I think isn't popular.I'm just glad we don't have an exact mirror of this behavior in society. Because otherwise we'd be back to "silencing the heretics" with public stonings and hangings.

Yeah, WoW Insider audience tends to do that. Even if the people consider themselves smart and bright. Be a homophobic, you get voted down. Be a Christian, you get voted down. In one day, I got half star ratings for a comment in Queue, 2 hours later I was glorified in the newest Drama Mamas article. That's how it rolls. But you shouldn't care about that. 10 people over the internet vote your comment down... who cares? I mean really... who cares? :) It's just 10 people who want to live out their negative ways by voting others down. They don't know you, you don't know them. Just think what you want to think.(Don't troll though. Never troll! I hate trollz....)

@Lur, don't confuse what you say, with how you say it. Yo came across as condescending and arrogant in what you said.

@Lur You're not downvoted anymore, so I guess it depends on who reads first. Thought you made a good point in raising the spectre of Harrison Jones. If you want a picture of the future expansion, imagine someone making a weak pop culture reference, then bashing it in your face screaming "LOL do you get it??" Forever.Though hopefully it'll be better than that.
