Because we miss the '90s and the wonderful fads that it introduced to our culture, Korean developer Ntreev has announced the return of the fabled Power Rangers -- this time in MMO form. Officially unveiled on Friday in Seoul, Power Rangers Online is prepping for its first Korean closed beta, which should begin Nov. 3 with extremely limited numbers. |

DCUO's free-to-play rollout has begun Last week, Sony Online Entertainment chose Nov. 1 for the arrival of free-to-play in Gotham City, and that day is upon us. According to the DC Universe Online Facebook page, the F2P rollout has begun; consequently, the game is currently down for maintenance "and will be for some time." |

It's actually not the American "Power Rangers" it's actually based on the Japanese "Sentai" version. Apparently the Koreans got the American version first, then switched to the Japanese version, but kept the Power Rangers name.
Besides, no Megazords? For shame.

Some people like that feeling of nostalgia when shown something from their childhood. I'm not afraid to admit that I had a childhood I liked and may want to return to at some point.

Actually, in Korea they use the "Power Rangers" title but they show a dubbed of the original Japanese source material.
So that's actually not Power Rangers, that's Mahou Sentai Magiranger.
