The common answer is "lol red = dead", but that doesn't really work out when your screen is full of red names. It's a lot easier to find a healer by clicking the giant Tauren waving his hands in the air.

Also, names don't display beyond a certain number of yards. Silhouettes are great for snap decisions when you're trying to figure out where you should head next in a BG.
