Before I get started talking about Wowcrendor's newest video, an unreleased version of the Mists of Pandaria trailer we saw from BlizzCon, I want to let you all know that Michael Gray is totally fine and wanted me to sub in because he knows how well I treat you all in his absence. Instead of actually treating you well, I'm going to advertise the fact that someone out there in Machinimaland needed me for a guest voice role and then, after a few days, I lost that person's contact information. So. If you wanted me for guest voice work on our machinima and I haven't gotten back to you, you should probably send me another email, because I am a dumb.
Anyway. Wowcrendor. What a treat, right? Barely a week after we see the trailer for Mists of Pandaria at BlizzCon 2011, Wowcrendor pushes out a fan-made trailer of his own telling us the real story behind all of the announcements and poking fun at the new features. If you're a Wowcrendor fan, you won't be disappointed. If you're a Mists of Pandaria fan, you won't be disappointed. There are a few pieces of the video that I know for a fact will ring true, especially the leader board guy in the challenge mode dungeon. Also, I am a huge fan of Wowcrendor's take on the new talent UI. Good work, buddy. Interested in the wide world of machinima? We have new movies every weekday here on WoW Moviewatch! Have suggestions for machinima we ought to feature? Toss us an email at moviewatch@wowinsider.com.
While I don't really like most of this stuff, sometimes there's a chuckle for me. Mostly though I just hate his voice. It just grates on me, so even when something is amusing, it just loses that to the vocals.
@HiH: "wowcrendor is stupid, show something else."
Umm.. I never said that? I only said I don't find him funny. People have different tastes in humor! Shocking, I know! It's not like I insulted him or his mother, for crying out loud.
Also like Voce said, to top it all off his voice just rubs me the wrong way, made even worse when he changes it to sound like another character. If you suck at voice acting, you could just play it straight and do all voices with the same monotone voice, heck, even that would make it funnier.
It seems he's able to make fun of Blizzard, make fun of WoW, make fun of people who make fun of Blizzard and WoW, and make fun of himself all at the same time.
@jfofla: Have you seen the official WoW forums? They're full of rampant negativity. The vid pretty much captures the essence of all the negativity thrown around since Vanilla. And, when you think about it, it's actually kind of funny... Or maybe that's just me because I find people complaining about stuff (in a non-constructive manner like, "OMG CATA BROKE TEH GAME!!") other than bugs and glitches funny.
If you're a healer and have a sufficient supply of potions, you can actually swim out pretty much indefinitely.
Between the 3.0 patch but before WotLK was properly released, I was bored and wanted to see if I could swim to Northrend. It took a couple tries to get the technique (like I found out that fatigue stops mana regen dead. That's why you need potions.) Eventually I made it!... To the edge of the zone and an invisible wall. It was about halfway to Northrend though, starting from Tirisfal.
I may have been unsuccessful, but at least it was a fun way to kill time. Aside from the "fatigue stops mana regen", I learned that dying in the middle of the ocean like that sent you across the ocean to The Barrens' graveyard when you released. That... was confusing.

I just realized the best part of this. My birthday is April 1st, and I love Pandas. Destiny.
The scenarios part was hilarious, though.
Also, way to pick some of the prettiest back ground images. Just look at that detail.

Was wondering when he'd release this. This one's a bit more smarmy and less giggle-inducing than the Cata one, but still funny as always.

"Singing Sunflower, get out of the fire!"
I would love if that actually makes it into the game.
"Your pet refuses to move out out of the fire! It's blaming the healer!"

"get out of the fire, get out of the fire, get out of the fire, you're dead"
"ararewrwrwararawerawrear!!!"
i effin love Crendor.

That was pretty damn amusing.

After seeing like ten of his videos in moviewatch, I still don't find him funny.

After seeing like on of your comments in Moviewatch, I still don't find it enlightening.

OH NO A DIFFERING OPINION

Ah well.

You could at least explain why you don't like his videos rather than saying "wowcrendor is stupid, show something else."
A lot of us here like his videos, so you'll have to make a slightly more compelling argument than that.

Wowcrendor, I love how you manage to make fun of the game without making it seem like you hate it. Kudos to you, my good sir!

Just looks like Hater Crap to me.
Rampamnt negativity is not funny

I know!
He REALLY made me feel guilty on his class episode. I'm EXACTLY that type of Druid. Except I'm worse in that I want to swap specs for each boss.
Sorry that healing is the funnest role for X encounter and tanking is the most fun on Y :)

About 300 yards off the coast!

I usually don't care much for Crendor's voice-overs but that voice was just perfect

"Well I found the limits, it's about 300 yards of the coast."
:D
(Says I, who once swam around Kalimdor. Yep. Took me a while ...)
