I don't believe the legion and the old gods would ever join forces, the legion wants to destroy everything that the titans mad their reason for hating Azeroth is because its the only place so far that has been able to stop them from fully destroying it. The old gods do not want to destroy Azeroth they just want the it back to the way it used to be IE no other beings but them and the elements causing chaos throughout the land. So they have two totally different viewpoints so they will never team up.
