If you remember this comic and wonder why they're outside when Brynne remembers them inside, it's because small children have wild imaginations and terrible memories. It is certainly not because the artist and the writer forgot and wrote it differently.
Also, the orphanage has a totally sweet training area because that Gnome handles funding very well.

I would have played it off that the scene was intended to be drawn from the outside and the window was the outside of the building. Plus the dark shadow of the Dwarf over the kids indicates it was outside and not indoors. I really like this continuation. Such great work Kelly!
