Veteran's Day is a day to celebrate the living vets. It shouldn't be bad to buy things on that day.

Memorial Day is for the dead.

I'd agree more (but still disagree) if it were on Memorial Day. Life goes on. ... . even on 9/11 . . . life is for the living. Can not give up life to commemorate death. It's disrespectful to those who died.
