I'm in Canada. We don't have a memorial day or a veteran's day. We have Remembrance Day, on November 11th. It is the day when we pause for two minutes at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month and remember all those who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms, and we honour all those who served their country and who continue to serve. So here, yes, it is a day of remembrance of all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
