WoW Moviewatch: Quest Busters, Episode 1 - Even Thieves Get Hungry

They've now released what may be one of the finest machinima videos ever created, ranking up right up there with BLIND. Does that sound like big praise? It's meant to be. Even Mat McCurley said "Like, this is too good." Quest Busters has it all; absolutely astounding graphics, great pacing, and powerful characters. The animation in the video is unbelievably good.
Tanx and Wiki instantly won my heart. The characterization and design of each character was pitch-perfect, and the animation tells you everything you need to know about their relation. The story is fun and includes one hell of a twist ending.
I fervently hope we see future episodes.

I really want to know what in Mandarin translates to "y'all." We somehow missed this in my class, and as a Southerner, I need to know!

I think you'll find that, depending on the translation, there may be no direct Mandarin counterpart to 'y'all'. I don't speak the language and so cannot say for sure, but it's entirely possible that whoever translated this did not do so entirely literally, and instead added the slang wording where appropriate (while still making sense/giving the correct 'feel' for the character).

Don't know if it is applicable in Mandarin, but Latin has a you plural...which I always translated as y'all on all my coursework. Tickled my teacher pink.

Using "y'all" was translator's choice, poet's license, etc. The plural for you "ni" in Mandarin is "ni-men". However in this case, the spoken dialog was "tong-tong" which in this context can be translated as everything or everybody. In Mandarin, it's not slang at all, but the English translation worked pretty well I think.

Doesn't even come close to the animations in Blind, as Percula did costum animations for everything, but nicely done, nonetheless.

True, but Blind was created with models that Percula created and animated, and then used skins from the game to make it only look like WoW.
Making a machinima, which by definition means models and animations from a game, as good as the one here take a lot of talent. Percula is talented in his own way, and I wish we would see more of his work, but he definitely went outside of the WoW box.
