Re: Tauren Rogues,Pandaren don't have hooves. That alone makes them far superior to Taurens when it comes to being sneaky. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a Tauren Rogue... but it just doesn't make sense (yet).

Tauren rogues attach daggers to their feet and walk on their hands.

A prisoner of war theme would essentially be an unsatisfactory way of maintaining the status quo:1) Before 4.3, Jaina has no role to play in Cataclysm2) After being captured, Jaina still has no role to play in Cataclysm. No thanks. That sounds as unsatisfactory as some of their other late expansion questing which is entirely enclosed and leads nowhere once done. *coughcoughgnomergancoughcough*

One of the announced dungeons for MoP is Shado-Pan Hideout. Ninja Pandas. You don't get more rogue than ninjas.

I think more of the problem is their tendency to Stomp.

I realize at this point it may be an effort in futility but... Grimtotem rogues say "hi".

Why the hell did my comment show up here when it was supposed to be a stand alone comment?
11-03-2011 @ 11:49AM
@Amaxe,Um, because if you didn't have bad comment luck you wouldn't have any comment luck at all?

i am SO TIRED of hearing this RUBBISH about "tauren being too big"why do people so readily accept "a wizard did it" as reasoning for so many things but get all "logical" when it comes to things like this?Do people realise that NONE of the races are "real"? Do they know that a shaman can call forth LIGHTNING from their hands...while underwater and not die?and further to Razions comment about grimtotem roguesmy Tauren hunter in camouflage says hello...then i stood still and went STEALTH and said hello again!Everyone please stop using real life physics/logic/reasoning to justify these things. Please stick to lore as the only common ground for these arguments.

Plus with pandas if you read up in the real world pandas were considered a sort of "bigfoot of China" until recent times.

"The Pandarens might be big and fat, but they are stealthy and quiet. That's a much more important quality than the size of their stomach. Remember, it's what's on the inside that counts."You ever see a Tauren stalk a python? 'Course you haven't. That's because Tauren are so adept at blending in with their surroundings.

Surely the tauren and draenei not being rogues is down to their being far too honorable/pious to resort to sneaking and backstabbing. Explains why the Grimtotem have no problem doing it.

I think the rogue issue boils down to hooves. The only two races that can't be rogues are the only two races with hooves (Tauren and Draenei). As far as Pandaren being agile fighters, I offer for consideration Sammo Hung.Silly fan trailer featuring a lot of Sammo's earlier work:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQ4YI_fsspUSammo vs. Donnie Yen in Killzone. Sammo getting hit butt kicked, but he is the bad guy in the climactic fight:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0BakMax2Fc
