Hmm. First time I met Vanessa in game was with my new Human Hunter in CATA launch.Fantastic Deadmines experience. Love at first sight !After I met her again in the Heroics, the love was gone I guess.Heroic dead mines didn't do her any good. She is now responsible for the most bizzare long running and boring Heroic dungeon run in the history of WOW.And instead of seeing it as a "challenge" (like I did with the year long trial on Maulgar the first boss on Gruul), I now see this long dreadful pain in the ass as a piece of XXX in dungeon design.Actually I hate her with a vengeance and I push the quit button the moment I enter the dungeon.Sorry Vanessa.

Deadmines and Stonecore were the two I dropped constantly.Deadmines depended on the bot, the trash was irksome, the gauntlet, ripsnarl. Cookie was so-so, but it's another of those dungeons hindered by the fact if someone hadn't done it, they were afraid to admit it. If they said they didn't, and you explained the rope, no issues, but they never would admit it, so KABOOM. (Assuming someone didn't fall off the boat and reset the encounter...) Also, Camera Angles, bleh.Stonecore: Trash before first boss, first boss (AE DAMNIT!), dragon boss (omg, why didn't healer heal me! Why did he break LOS!), trash before stoneboss, then Stoneboss. And both are long without being able to reduce time much.

@vocenoctrumAlso Halls of origination was not really that good designed. First boss is stupid to heal if the group doesn't stay tuned and communicates.I would like to add that as a healer I really stopped doing dungeons very early in CATA. I just rolled a human hunter to do ranged DPS without responsibility. But Deadmines gets the price for most stupid design ever to do PUGS with.It is easy to blame it all on Ghostcrawler of course, but I think THE ERROR of PVE content in CATA was that too many "professional game designers" were attracted that NEVER worked in an MMO before (GC is but one of them).MMo's are NOT about video game challenges. MMO's are about having grinding fun to get to the next gear/item/level and by inserting typical gameplay challenges in PUG's they certainly took out the fun for supporting classes like healers. The early on (later corrected) mana screw was just the icing on the cake why MANY healers simply changed classes. And that mana screw was certainly the work of GC.TLDR: MMO's are NOT your typical video game play. I think that's the difference between someone like Pardo/Kaplan and the new generation of established designers they attracted and who made CATA dungeons far too difficult for the supporting classes in dungeon runs.
