What you seem to be missing is that, even with the old content nerfed to match the players at that level, the squish would mean that the difference between a 60 and a 70 would be less, and so on down the line.

In other words, while if they do it right Molten Core won't be any more difficult for a level 60 group to defeat, it will be far more difficult for a level 70, 80, or 85 group than it is today. For your average player (like me, I cry, although I'm obviously not objective) that would put a lot of solo raid runs beyond the reach of their skills.

Personally, I think that's an OK price to pay.
