Draenei and Night Elfs going with the rotten? Dont think so. If thats what Tyrande gonna do to make herself noticed then let here stand there humping.I think the forsaken are the only ones that feel like they could decouple them self from their faction. Everyone else is pretty tight at the moment even with the high tension in the horde.Alliance needs to be brought together a bit more if you ask me. Varian has proven that he can lead an army but the alliance needs more than that. Gnomeregan need to be retaken, guilneas needs to be avenged and the exodar needs to be turned into a disco.

I would disagree with you on Varian. Not that he can't lead an army, but the story, at least in game, is making him look to be quite the incompetent leader. We shall see what happens in MoP. If they fail to do anything with him plotwise, I hope they just knock him off and bring someone else into play.

Incompetent? Blizzard really should not have saved his debut as a character for the comic series. Varian had good reason to not trust the orcs, and he's been learning to overcome that bias and learn that the Horde isn't just the sum of it's war mongering members. This game only has so many opportunities to demonstrate character development, and they've been steering Varian towards more than what so many people seem to be espousing. Metzen mentioned Varian would be getting more development in MOP, and we'd even be serving as his personal squire. The factions of Warcraft have been dealing with very dark times the last year or so, with strife and loss. But as Metzen says, just stick around and don't think this is final. Dark times are necessary for heroes to born and rise again.

I agree with that, I just don't see the Night Elves leaving, or anyone in the Alliance really fully leaving.I think rather then new factions, the 2 current ones reworked. Now the idea isn't perfect yet, would need a lot of work, but I like the idea none the less. The fact that the Pandaren can choose a faction got me thinking. I've always had a fascination with the High Elves, now that in lore they essentially fixed what made High Elves Blood Elves, I think it would be excellent to give them a faction choice, I mean it basically is already in game, we just can't play High Elves, so that would be an ideal choice in my view. Now to balance out the rest would be a pickle. I can see Sylvanas splitting off from the Horde, making her own faction, maybe the Forsaken would be more then dead humans, they'd have their Blood Elf half of the High Elves too, but for others, I could see the Tauren joining the Alliance. Not so sure on Trolls & Orcs, but not impossible, but so far this would make the Alliance a bit too big. That's way I said it wasn't perfect, but I like the ideas, but will it happen? Probably not.

And the Dreanei separating from the Alliance?? Not as long as Velen has anything to say about it.. He wants his army of the Light for the fight against the Legion remember?
