This is going to give me nightmares but, man, I love this piece of KYL: TFH! You rock, Anne :)
But something I'd like to have cleared up: I was under the impression that the Titans came to Azeroth (after "creating order" on various other planets) and found the place swarming with Old Gods and their elemental cronies. After finding out how utterly evil and corrupt the Old Gods were, the Titans were forced to banish the elemental lords and imprison the Old Gods beneath the surface of Azeroth. When Neltharion went underground to recover from one of the ancient conflicts (I forget which one), that was when he became corrupted by the whispers of the Old Gods and then proceeded to go batshite crazies, shenanigans ensue, etc.
(All of this references this page in the game lore from the site: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/game/lore/story-so-far/chapter-1/3#readmode)
BUT... if Azeroth really is the malevolent blob encased in a planet by the Titans, then doesn't that completely negate all of the stuff I just mentioned?? Or am I going crazy, too? /mindblown

There are a couple different versions of the origin story, really!
