Mind=Blown!!!! Thanks Anne!
But I would like to add some thoughts that occurred to me while reading yours:
What if the Titan's re-origination device did not get rid of the old gods? What if the purpose of the whole re-origination thing would be to re-create the prison around the old gods if they were to be too close to being free again?
This could explain why algalon did not re-orginate azeroth, he was speechless after he fought the creatures of azeroth. With our teamwork and tenacity we were able to stand before him, fight him and stand our own in front of someone who's practically a god. My guess is the re-originatation of azeroth would not get rid of the old gods so it would not solve the old god problem AND would mean the death of all living things on this planet. Algalon, for the first time in his life, noticed how these living creatures loved life and would be fighting to the death to preserve it. He decided to give them a chance; a chance to succeed where the titans failed, find a way to get rid of the old gods for good.
I also think that Azeroth is not part of the 7 old gods. The whisper from Yogg-Saron's puzzle box: "Have you had the dream again? A black goat with seven eyes that watches from the outside." make mention of a black goat with seven eyes. What if azeroth is that black goat and the seven eyes symbolize each of the seven old gods imprisoned below the earth? I know this mean that your pentagram theory (which I am a huge fan of) is wrong but not really; What if it's a hexagram instead of a pentagram?
I strongly believe that we will see an old god below pandaria at some point in the future; with the sha, the titan facility and everything, it just seems like a perfect opportunity. They already confirmed that pandaria is located to the south (similar to northrend which is in the north), if we use an hexagram and assume that there is a old god below pandaria, everything works!
Anyway can't wait to see where this story is going!
Please forgive me if there are any mistakes, english is not my first language and I had to type everything again because I hit my refresh macro when I was done the first time... /cry
