Alchemy was about the only profession I actively leveled on alts, mostly for the Endless Mana Potions (really hoping they bring those back in MoP!). This let me get the pot spec quest done easily because I could queue for Botanica and grab that quest item easily. I'd change right away to something more useful though. One potion per fight kinda killed potion mastery in Wrath.
