I'm shocked this hasn't been asked because I'm so curious about it. Where on the world map is darkmoon island located? Also can I save my valor points to buy tier 13 gear when 4.3 drops?

Seriously though I can't wait for my purple ostritch mount!

It is unknown where the darkmoon island actually is. As well, all valor will be converted to justice when 4.3 lands.

A good many of us are wondering about the lore location.

As for using Valor Points for gear drops, I point you to what happened with Valor Points in 4.2, and point out that Tier 13 will not be available for purchase at all, just from drops.
