Just a thought, if druids can DPS as well as a pure DPS class, heal like any other healer class and tank as well as any other tank and on top of that they can interchange roles during the fight, that puts them at a very big advantage for any other class especially the classes they are designed for pure DPS. Why would a Raid leader want to take any other class, other than for raid buffs, or the fact that if there is too many druids they will have to compete for loot?

That's what the last guy on the druid questions asked, and didn't get fully answered. Btw, the response he got is kinda confusing, because it implies that if the raid doesn't have druids for healing intensive phases, then they won't be able to beat the fight.
I don't know if I'm liking the idea Blizzard has for us Druids in the future. We'll see.

The main point they made is that druids will have utility but have to give up their primary focus to snag it. They're using time-management instead of lower numbers on the primary ability to do the balancing, though. A feral that spends 10% of the fight healing is going to do around 10% less damage, and they're still not going to be as good of a healer as somebody specced that way.
We'll have to see how it works out in practice; I could see a sequential DPS druid tranquility chain booting a healer from the mix. And on the other side, it could end up almost never worth swapping to heal even when the boss is almost dead and you just need that extra second of tank life to push it from a 1% wipe to a win. Lots o' ways for it to go wrong, but nifty if they can make it work.

Their dps will be competitive while they're dpsing but they will be expected to switch roles and give up dps time. Meaning they won't be topping the meters in damage done if they are good players.

There probably will still be a hybrid tax. People are drawing their own conclusions from the response to the Chase question. They said that the reason to bring a pure will be less about doing more damage like in it was in TBC model. This means the damage won't be too different between pures and hybrids but pures will still have a slight edge.
