The Black Temple was merely a setback!

i want the demon hunter as the next hero class so much... it would be an awesome starting chain like the dks had where Illidan teaches players how to be bad ass anti heroes like him.
both elf races would be able to be demon hunters and maybe a couple other races as well (i personally think orcs with fel orc skins and draenei with the broken skins would be great). they would probably play much the same as the upcoming monk class (now that i think of it monks embrace balance while demon hunters feed off of chaotic (fel) energy, kinda makes an interesting contrast). also demon hunters get usable wings (if druids have instant flight forms then y not?)

Because most demon hunters don't have wings at all? Just sayin'. Illidan had wings because he chowed down on Gul'dan's skull, which was supercharged with fel energies. Illidan is the only demon hunter we've seen go all demony; it's seems likely a one-time event, because artifacts like the Skull of Gul'dan are rare.

Plus, it's kind of insane. One of the things demon hunters try to do is control their inner demon; supercharging it makes that rather more difficult.

@Boobah: Well, all demon hunters so far have been able to sprout wings by using their metamorphosis ability.

Demonc Flight Form sounds good to me.

As do playable demon hunters led by a revived Illidan -- but not redeemed. He should remain neutral chaotic. I want a neutral anti-hero.
