And for what it's worth, I agree with you. Both Jaina and Tyrande did get relegated to "We're here to be girlfriend fodder until they decide to write stories for us."

About the Ravenholdt thing- I had a guildy take me there for my lvl 20 rogue at the time. She used her nifty DK abilities to PoF so I could follow behind. Yeah. I didn't have a mount because at lvl 20 you didn't have a mount back then. She took me to southshore and was nice enough to show me the cave. One I got there I quickly realized I had left whatever it was I was supposed to bring, in my bank. So I hearthed back and grabbed it, went to the FP and realized I didn't grab the soutshore FP. /doh. When I went back to find ravenholdt manor, it took me a good 30 min to find the path again. Good thing they scrapped it ;)

I remember a trick about following the fallen tree in the river. Sometimes it helps me find it, about as often it doesn't do a thing.

There's also the exciting alternate game 'Run away from the densely packed groups of mobs who are slightly higher level than everything else in the area because you swear this goddamn path lead to Ravenholdt'

Today on an alt on my secondary server, I had a couple tries at-
#gankedbywanderingnpc. On my horde toon, no less. There was a quest to get some dude named Sykes? Tell me if you have had this one. Not only does he have a bodyguard but it's next to Honor stand? And there are a couple roaming lvl 40 NPC's. I did meet up with Mr. Sykes later on down the trail. He wasn't so tough then.

@Noyou - Ali have the same issue in Ashenvale now. If you take the road from the east to the west, you get ganked/flagged by Horde NPC even if you just stay on the road. (on RP realm, it makes you go WTFFFFFFFFFF) I thought roads were safe.....wrong!
Alt Hopping - how many times can you change toons to figure out who's got the BoA pirate ring, or who's got the ore/cloth/gem before you are DC'd from the server.
I still love the BH one tho.....

Oh, I remember those days. Got sent to Forest song for a quest and got WTF ganked by the hordies at the little camp off the road.
Also play #findyourmats while #althopping. I hear there is an addon to tell you exactly what toons have what. But that's like cheating :P
