I make plenty of gold.
It's not a goal and I don't spend too much time doing it.
What I do, however, is think about how I am going to make it.
What does that mean? It means it's possible to make at least 100k - if not several 100k.
It just takes thought - which is something not enough people would prepare to do.
You'd be surprised how many people don't even have an Auction / Bank alt.
Read the free guides, ask in forums and use professions.
If that takes too much time, then simply become a mercenary on your non-raiding days (subject to guild policy)
You can make gold, with little effort / time.
Just don't sit there and hope for it to happen.
