Thank you to all who served and who continue to serve. My husband and I just returned from a Remembrance Day ceremony, a very poignant one for us since he just returned from Afghanistan yesterday.

My father served back before I was born and my current job is a local memorial to one of our town's fallen Soldiers, I have two reasons around me every day to remember. Today is also Red Shirt Friday, a weekly time to remember and show support by wearing a red shirt. "They bleed red so we wear red." If you are like me and just now getting up and ready for your day go ahead and grab that red shirt you have laying around. ;D

Remembrance day you say? Wonder if people do remember that 11 nov 1918 WorldWar one "ended".

So, is Remembrance Day for Allied soldiers only? I've a couple of relatives who thought in the great wars, only on the losing side.

/thanks for giving up your time and sometimes your lives to make ours better.
