I also saw some quote somewhere, and this seemed like early speculation by some devs, that some races might have different sorts of monks. Which would make a lot of sense. Not all races should have the same thing, when they have such long and storied histories.

That being said, I have a feeling they'll get the Blood Knight/Sunwalker treatment, which is that they have "different sorts of monks" where what that actually means is that we call them different things but they all have the same spells.
